Meet Dr. Mary Ann Choby
At The Restore Hair Place, our medical director and owner, Dr. Mary Ann Choby. brings a unique perspective to hair restoration. As an endodontist, she has not only studied the field but has also personally experienced hair loss and shedding. From the WEN® craze to platelet-rich plasma hair therapy, Dr. Choby has tried various treatments to address her own hair needs. She was satisfied with the results from HairClub but then faced another challenge – chemotherapy for cancer. This led her to try the FDA-cleared DigniCap® Scalp Cooling System to minimize hair loss. Later, she was introduced to TEDTM hair restoration, which not only helped her but also her son, who was also experiencing hair loss. This personal journey has made Dr. Choby deeply empathetic to the struggles of her clients and committed to providing the best possible solutions.
Now, she provides hair restoration services for clients struggling with hair loss at The Restore Hair Place in the Tysons Corner area in Vienna, VA.

Katya "Kat" Calderon
Kat joined the team back in 2014 as the receptionist for Laser Endodontic Care LLC, Dr. Choby’s Endodontic practice. Over the years, Kat has assisted with various tasks, such as scheduling appointments, to maintaining computer security to keeping the office compliant with HIPAA & OSHA to assisting during treatments. You can say, Kat does a little bit of everything!
Along with Dr. Choby, she was introduced to Alma TED. Being a tech savvy individual, the technology TED had was fascinating! With a degree in Biochemistry, Kat understood the science behind why Alma’s innovation hair restoration solution worked.
Kat is certified in providing TED treatments and is ready to help you start your hair restoration journey all while being understanding, kind, and respectful.
Even though Kat is new to the hair game, she is ready to grow and absorb as much information as possible to assist you.
